ISL monofilaments need to be installed under tension. This process is very easy and once done, the line will only need a minimum amount of maintenance over the lifetime of the product.

ENDPOST KNOT
Step 1/4
Make 3 loops around the post, and leave about 50cm free to make the knot
Step 2/4
Wrap the line 3 times around itself, keeping the line in the other hand
Step 3/4
Wrap the line 3 times around itself again in the other direction, towards the end post
Step 4/4
Wrap the line 3 times around the loops on the end post tucking the end under the loops
UNDER TENSION
Step 1/5
You must adjust your tensioner with the right length - Polyamide: 3% of the total length installed -
Polyester: 1% of the total length installed.
Step 2/5
To tension the line, keep the line in one hand and, insert it inside the tensioner.
Step 3/5
Fix the clip (cable puller) onto the line, and you can start to tension the line.
Step 4/5
You must respect the required tension
- Polyamide: 3% of the total length installed (for exemple 3m for 100m row)
- Polyester: 1% of the total length installed (for exemple 1m for 100m row).
Step 5/5
Once you tensioned ISL, you can start to make the endpost knot.
END TO END KNOT
Step 1/4
Fix the clips (cable pullers) onto the lines, and you can start to join the lines. Leave about 20 cm on both lines to make the knot.
Step 2/4
Make 3 loops with the first line around the second line, and leave about 20cm free on the second one to make the knot.
Step 3/4
Repeat the process with the other one. Finish rolling the line in the center of the knot. Release the rope tensioner.
